Folk embroidered dressfronts sourced from north west India, were up-cycled to create this unique and colorful clutch.  The textiles are most likely in the Sindhi or Kutchi folk embroidery style, the designs are more commonly geometric or in the form of stylized foliage and flowers.  Embroidery from the Kutch region is also widely known for the use of "shisha", or mirrors on the textiles.  Tassels and other embellishements were also used depending on what occasion the article was being worn for.
