Our second Pop Up Caravan was a smashing hit! Thank you, THANK YOU, to everyone who came out and to all the vendors who participated.
This time we expanded our event and included nine other Southeast vendors to participate. The Caravan was held at historic Lincoln Mill, on Meridian Street in Huntsville, AL. Lincoln Mill was built in 1900 and at its height of production employed over 2,000 people, operated 1,200 looms and 120,000 spindles! The rich textile history of the building was the perfect compliment to our collection of handicrafts and textiles. We love that we were able to pay homage to the history of the textile industry in our Southern town, while at the same time promoting other cultures and their textile heritages.
If you weren't able to attend, below are some shots Amanda Powell took of the event. (THANKS AMANDA!)
